Joining the fight against cancer
Biria is honored to be a part of the fight against breast cancer by becoming a sponsor of the National Breast Cancer Foundation. Based on solid evidence, exercising strenuously for more than 4 hours per week is associated with reduced breast cancer risk. With the promotion of an active lifestyle, Biria hopes to reduce the incidences of breast cancer through prevention. Biria USA will introduce the Pink Ribbon Easy Boarding Bike in March 2009.
Biria USA is proud to support the fight against breast cancer and is featuring the Pink Ribbon Easy Boarding Bicycle for this special cause. A portion of all proceeds will be donated for breast cancer research and awareness. This bicycle -- a special and limited edition, can be purchased from our dealers nationwide in March 2009. The Pink Ribbon Biria bikes will be available in glossy black and pearl white colors, with an elegant design in pink. The Pink Ribbon Easy Boarding is available in a 3-speed model with coaster brake, 7-speed model with hand brakes, and single speed coaster brake.
The introduction of the Pink Ribbon Easy Boarding accomplishes our goal in various ways. On one hand, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, who will fund free mammograms for women who could not otherwise afford them, and also support research programs in leading facilities across the country. On the other hand, Biria aspires to promote physical activity, specifically cycling, which can lead to a healthy lifestyle and greatly help reduce the risk of diseases such as cancer. The Easy Boarding bicycles have become popular in the last several years for their comfort and the easiness of getting on and off the bike.
